Busiest by aircraft movements — the crown just changed hands

For the first time since 2020, Atlanta is not the world's busiest airport by flights. Chicago O'Hare recorded 857,392 aircraft movements in 2025 (▲10.5%), overtaking Atlanta's 807,625. Atlanta keeps the passenger crown; O'Hare takes the movements crown — the "two number-ones" story every aviation desk loves.
